Palm Springs, CA, January 6, 2022 – Hollywood research CEO, film producer, and author Kevin Goetz will be on hand for a special book signing event open to the public at Just Fabulous Palm Springs on Sunday, January 9th from 3 to 5 PM. This event will launch the gift boutique’s 15th Annual 2022 Author Event Series.
Over ten years in the making, Goetz’s book Audience•ology: How Moviegoers Shape the Films We Love chronicles how real people have written and rewritten America’s cinematic masterpieces through the secretive process of audience testing of Hollywood movies. This fascinating book, complete with first-hand stories from famous filmmakers, studio chiefs, and stars, has enough humor, drama, and surprise to entertain everyone from film aficionados to anybody who loves movies.
Initially, Goetz had intended to write a textbook but was at a road block because he could not reveal any details about the projects that he had worked on or betray any confidentiality agreements. After many trials and tribulations, he and his writing partner, Darlene Hayman, finally came up with the idea to interview those that he had worked with during his 30+ years in this business. The ultimate book is like no other book readers will find in the movie or memoir category and this historical perspective is a must read for anyone whether in the industry or a movie fan.
